Tinnitus is a pervasive problem, it is the perception of noise or ringing in the ears. It is normal to hear sounds after a loud concert, or being in a boisterous environment; however, if the noise stays with you, you have probably developed tinnitus. 

The most common noises in your ear(s) are:

  • Ringing
  • Buzzing
  • Roaring
  • Clicking
  • Hissing
  • Humming

The sound can be a low roar or very high pitched; it can be continuous or “come and go”, you may hear it in one or both ears. 

If you experience tinnitus, you experience a symptom of an underlying condition, but it is not a condition itself. 

Tinnitus can have physiological, medical origins, but it can suggest hidden psychological issues.

We will try to find out what was the trauma, fear or worry behind the symptom and deal with the emotion, process it, so it will not cause any further physiological symptoms.
